Conflict Processes

One of the main research initiatives at the Cline Center is the study of civil conflict processes. We seek to understand the origins, consequences, and the dynamic development of conflict processes involving individuals, groups, and nations. To do so the Cline Center has implemented two programs that spends much of its time and resources on the extraction of civil unrest events from unstructured data sources.
