Conflict Processes
The Center has nearly two decades of experience in researching threats to societal stability, in systematically categorizing acts of protest and political violence around the world, and in creating data interventions to improve systems of accountability in ways that strengthen effective governance. Most of these projects employ Artificial Intelligence capabilities along with Natural Language Processing algorithms to support highly trained human analysts in reliably extracting information about societal unrest events from news reports and other authoritative sources of information.
