The Cline Center is involved in interested in reducing threats to human flourishing brought about by natural disasters and improving societal resilience to disruptions caused by climate change. Some of the answers we seek to answer are: What kind of social unrest occurs after a natural disaster?  How can the name of a hurricane impact the preparation and readiness of people that are in the path of the storm?
